My name is DJ Paul Nutbrown and come from southampton. I have been into dance music for 12 years now. It all started when i was listening to the likes of Dave Pearce and Judge Jules on Radio 1 at the weekends back in my school days.
All my friends were the same and some were in a position to go and buy there own Technics 1210's due to wealthy parents :( unlike me who only had a £12 a week paper round lol. So i used to go round and just fiddle with theirs.
After school didnt really think about getting into DJing but after years of clubbing and still loving the tunes i went and brought a £500 direct drive package(Kam DDX3000's and Numark DMX06 Mixer) after a year of these i dumped them in favour of the infamous CDJ 1000's and DJM 800 as CD's are a lot cheaper to buy.
Then my break came, i got offered a slot to play for Wildchilds 5th birthday @ seOne in London. That done my confidence wonders as my set went well. Since then i have played local gigs but am now travelling further afield for more gigs as got offered a gig in Nottingham to play at a Hard Dance night called RompaStomp!.
Since then I have now secured a residency at MIJA in Eastleigh which is a Trance event held on the 1st friday of every month.
