Psy-Clone (James) has been a Psy-Trance DJ for nearly 7 years, mixing an exciting and rare blend of full on, but uplifting psy. He has played many festivals and nights around the UK and is currently working on reaching out towards London, and eventually into Europe, hoping to break into the festival scene there.
He spends most of his time listening to music and putting sets together to create a sound that normally gives no room for a break, as each tune drives you harder, whilst still maintaining a fun, and uplifting energy!
He currently plays out and around Cornwall at a few different regular gigs, including nights with Zetan Spore (zetanspore.co.uk. - For the last 3 years they have been running a monthly night in Penzance called Hypertribe (Currently stopped for lack of a good venue!), bringing down guest DJ's from around the South West. He also plays away from home as much as possible, including past sets at Tribe of Frog and Amphibian up in Bristol, The Badgers Ball and Aum-Ni-Verse in Plymouth, plus a few other nights in Exeter, Bournemouth and more.
Over the last 3 years, he has broken into the festival circuit, and has since played at Waveform Festival in 2007 and 2008 on both the Tribe of Frog stage, and the Main stage, + Offworld festival in 2008 (and he was booked for 2009, before the festival had to cancel). This year he played on the Psychedelic Breakfast stage at Alchemy Festival, and did a 2nd 'Warm up' set for Zetan Spore on the Main stage on the Saturday night. - Next year is already shaping up well, with possible links with 3 or more festivals! - Watch this space....
Recently James has been getting involved with psy internet radio, and is planning on doing a couple of live shows (One on Psymusic.co.uk in a special VS set with Aulday, and the other on redeyedjedidjpromotions.co.uk) to compliment some of his mixes he curently has playing across a few online stations, including Philosomatika.com and Swansong-webradio.
