What a year!
This time in 2008 we’d decided to launch our own electro house night at our local pub in north London just as a way of the 4 of us getting more gigs. One year on and we’ve held events at some of the UK's biggest and best venues, met some wicked people, and got in some serious states as well as working with MixMag not to mention the likes of Hoxton Whores, Mark EG, DJ Zinc, Andy Farley to name but a few.
Pure Filth Elektro began life as a series of basement parties in Hackney quickly gaining a cult underground status around Dalston and Shoreditch.
The unique combination of musical styles combining Electro House, Tech House and Uplifting Ibiza House with live musical elements and visuals, always delivers an amazing vibe in a wide variety of venues from trendy east end locations such as the Russian and 333 to high profile London nightclubs including Egg, Ghost and Fluid. This formula insures a euphoric atmosphere always ensuring a diverse mixture of clubbers from the hardcore underground ravers right through to the Shoreditch elite, with guest DJs ranging from Hoxton Whores and Ministry of Sound’s Matt Weeks through to east end electronic acts such as Peacock Theory and Death Of A Pony.
Our events also include live percussion and live visuals.

DJ DGS has been playing out on the club circuit for nearly 11 years, appearing at some of the UK's top clubbing venues as well as countless bars, clubs and underground parties. His musical style is based on electro house with very strong influences from a wide rage of genres including break beat, techno, house and even rock. In addition to this he has produced albums for London based hip-hop and punk acts which has also been a strong influence on his performances. DGS uses 100% vinyl, steering away from the digital formats in favor of a more traditional analogue sound often incorporating live instruments and musicians from all genres along with analogue based samplers.
> Simon Boulind
Simon Boulind has been playing out for 12 years, he started djing from the age of 18 at the Epping Forest Country Club after winning a dj competition there, he progressed on to playing at Aquarium, Shoreditch where he was involved with the successful monthly night Shelter, playing in Ibiza in the summer of 2002. He started out playing soulful house, progressing onto a main room sound mixing electro and tech house alongside uplifting Ibiza tracks, inspired by his own experiences of being on the island. > GoodTimeKid
DJ Eddie also known as The GoodTimeKid has been playing dj sets for 7 yrs. He first realized his passion in his teens when he saw a dj scratching with 2 vinyls. It was not until a heartbreaking moment later in his life that he decided to follow his dream. So he sold his car and bought decks. 1 year later he had a residency and started promoting his own night called ‘Eddies Room‘, playing progressive house and also playing closing sets at the local hard trance club. Also hosting his own late night radio show at uni.
It was magazines like Mixmag and loads of England and European acts that caught his heart and he moved to England. The GoodTimeKid has played a number of house parties in every corner of London, building friendships through good quality house music and ‘he’s good guy’ attitude.
He soon started doing radio on radioweb.tv playing his eclectic love of music from prog house, electro house, tech house to uplifting trance and psychedelic trance. Eddie’s passion and commitment is evident in his sets, it’s always uplifting, never dark. His sets are never the same and this is what’s most unique about GTK.
