From the age of 14, Rob has been a Hard Dance DJ, playing out many tracks from his influences like BK, Guyver, Ingo, Stimulant DJ’s and many more.


In 2002, he left school to go to college studying sound engineering with intentions to work within the music industry. This was followed by another two years studying Music Technology which he successfully achieved a BTEC National Diploma at the highest grade. At present, Rob is currently studying BSc Multimedia Technology and Music Production at the University of Derby to gain a deeper knowledge within the industry.

Rob releases his productions under various names; Rob Hills, Hilz'E, Staar DJ and The Hillstar

Rob also runs his own hard dance record label called “Indicate Records”, so any demo’s please send to info@indicatemusic.net.
