I'm 24, from Hertfordshire, but living in Amsterdam since January 2008 cos I fancied a change. Love Progressive/Tech House but but my heart beats TECHNO - the harder the better. I like scummy, dingy clubs where people just let off like mad and enjoy the music (Factory, The End, seOne) and going to outdoor raves and events like Awakenings, Glade, I love Techno and Global Gathering (before it disappeared up it's own commercialised arse). I can't stand people that don't dance and turn up to a club wearing a fucking suit or their head up their own arse drinking champagne all night.

GET RID OF ANYTHING TITLED 'DIRTY' AND/OR 'FILTHY' IT'S ALL BOLLOCKS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

My favourite Superstar DJ's (no order):

JEFF MILLS - the best DJ in the world. You haven't lived till you've heard him with 6 decks and a 909 creating a fucked up wall of sound, always with the groove though.
JOHN DIGWEED - just edges Sasha in my opinion for being that edge darker and I fucking love his more recent Tech sound
SASHA - best set builder of all time and when he plays B2B with John Digweed no-one can touch them
CARL COX - the DJ that got me into this fucked up music, all time legend from Fantazia to Global, his mixing is unrivalled and his Essential Mix residency once a month through '98 and '99 was incredible
BEN SIMS - one of the best DJs in the world, fucking hammering war techno every time and he's a sick producer as well, love it when he plays with Surgeon as.......
FREQUENCY 7 - Bens Sims and Surgeon back to back is something to behold, two fucking amazing DJs with unbelievable record collections and they hammer the cunt out of every place they play
ROBERT HOOD - (real) minimal innovator with pounding, soulful beats
DJ BONE - Another Detroit legend that prefers to stay underground; soulful, emotional vocals and heavyweight basslines all mixed with 3 decks
DANNY HOWELLS - funky pant swinging tech-edged Prog, love his Dig Deeper nights
DERRICK MAY - what can I say - one of Techno's founding Fathers, the epitome of coolness in my opinion
Paul van Dyk/Armin van Buuren - the Godfather of Trance and the current King, also great producers in the Prog glory days - Tiesto and his wheelbarrow can fuck off
