Scott (Bounce) is an young audio engineer based in Scotland. At 21 years old he has already built up a large discography. Having secured releases on labels such as Relentless Vinyl, Liquid Hardcore, CLSM & Nukleuz to name a few, his fresh and energetic sound is blowing dancefloors apart all over the UK. He first got into hardcore in the mid 90's, at a very young age. From there on he followed the scene closely, purchasing alot of the compilations that came out north of the border. When the scene died he slowly moved towards trance, however once the scene showed signs of a revival he was straight back. By this time he was starting to DJ, so he bought alot of the vinyl and began mixing away. It wasn't long before he was bored of DJing with other peoples tracks, and this is when the producing started.
DJ Turned Producer
Bounce started producing around late 2004. He was inspired by the sounds of Breeze & Styles, and tried to recreate the huge trancey hardcore tracks they done. Alot of his work from around this time is barely worth mentioning, although at the time was something to be proud of. With each and every track he made his finished product starting sounding better and better. He sent alot of his early work to DJ Kurt and Al Storm, to which he gained alot of tips and some good feedback. The first main highlight of his career was having a few digital releases. After that he started up Underground United, which consisted of a digital label and a website featuring a host of up and coming talent playing on the radio. This died around a year later due to lack of time to update and maintain. It took about another year before the birth of Essential Soundz, a label in which Bounce released tracks from producers such as Leigh Outrage, Phenex, Haze and others aswell as his own. The label has currently released 21 tracks (including the Underground United back cat), with another 13 recently been signed and scheduled for release. His next major highlight was one of his remixes been featured on not just one album, but two. His remix of Dancelordz's hit "Together" certainly helped his name. It was his first vinyl release, and was cained by Kevin Energy and Sharkey. Infact, Kevin Energy opened his set at the third Hardcore Heaven Weekender with it. Bounce then received other work from Mr Nu Energy, and his remix of "Illusion" (MDA, Spherical & GRH) is currently out on Liquid Hardcore (also being cained by Kev and Sharkz).
