I'm one of those jammy blighters who gets to play records for a living..... Sure Beats workin'!!! I've been DJing full time for about 7 years now, but started playing out in 1986 (BLOODY HELL, that's twenty years - I really AM an old git!!!).
I'm currently resident for Cocoa Rooms & Prohibition in Manchester and Retro in Burnley.... And over the years I've been lucky enough to play at Chuff Chuff, Miss Moneypenny's, Babooshka, GodsKitchen, Ministry Of Sound, Cafe Mambo, The Kingly Club, LoveLeeds, GlobalGathering, The Sugar Lounge, Embassy Rooms and 2Risque (amongst many others!)
"ECLECTIC" would sum up what I'm about musically - whether it's some deep vocal soulful house on the terrace at The Cocoa Rooms, some HipHop and RnB at SoulFood, a full-on 'hands-in-the-air' mash-up of House Classics for Retro or an amalgamation of all that with some Disco and RareGrooves, or some funky, chunky house at Babooshka. You name it, I play it (well nearly, but not quite!)
More 'Short, Fat and Hairy' than 'Tall, Dark and Handsome' - 34 and happily shacked up with a gorgeous other half (nearly six years....and counting!) and a psychotic, but very cute, West Highland Terrier!
