SMARTIEPARTIE WORLD TOURS evolved from Trace Harris as a 'percussion residency' at Ministry of Sound inc World Wide Tours and the creation of Smartie Partie.
Events where people really knew how to party! In 1995 Claire & Trace hosted a party on the Temple Pier Yacht, the pass-word to gain entry to this event was "smartiepartie". 200 people turned up and we rocked that boat till the early hours! After the success of several other private parties, we quickly out-grew this smelly little boat and moved SP to venues such as Space Ibiza / Privelage Ibiza / Turnmills London / Ministry of Sound London / Abu Dhabi. We then took a 5 year residency at the Ministry of Sound, where our djs, dancers & percussion entertained The Ministry while it was in its prime. During this time Trace also travelled the world as the Ministry's resident percussionist & along the way set up Smartie Partie World tours in many countries all over the world... After the Ministry we had 5 fantastic years of parties at The Glasshouse (Londons only nightclub to boast river views across the city), before taking on our monthly residency at the legendary 'Turnmills', where we currently host the 2nd Saturday of every month.
