Biography
Steve was born in 1981, in the small town of Maidstone, Kent. He first started DJing at the age of 14 when a long time friend brought round a set of basic belt drive decks and set them up in his dad’s garage. He first started his DJ career back in 2000 playing a small venue’s round Maidstone, venue’s like Gabriel’s,Source Bar, River Bar (Home to Ministry of Sounds “Club Class”), Parks and more. In 2003 Steve up roots and moved to Stoke-on-Trent in Staffordshire where he met his partner in crime, joint promoter of Corruption, duo for the Acid Monkies and part owner of Corrupted Records, DJ Daz Bowen.
Whilst living in Stoke, Steve & Daz held events in all the usual bars and clubs, such as Revolutions, Tube, Fatcats, Touch, and Zero Night Club.
Finally in recent months Steve has been notice for his deep, dark, progressive tech with dirty acid baselines and has been offered a residence at a night called “Nocturnal,” which takes place every Saturday at Coco’s in Hanley.
