How do you do? mediafire.com
I'm stu as i'm pretty sure you've gathered by now.
Well,where do i begin?
I'm a house dj at the tender age of 31 years young.
It all started for me when a friend of mine dragged me out from my nice quiet night fri night in to attend an event called Godskitchen many moons ago.
I seriously still owe him 1 for this as it was this night which motivated me to purchase my 1st set of decks and an absolute boat load of vinyl.
At the time i was floating between trance/prog and hard house as these were popular local weekly events
I have to say that my roots firmly lie within the trance/prog scene having spent most of my early years visiting gods, passion and gatecrasher.
I bought my 1st set of decks in 2001 and set about learning to master the fine art of dj'ing.
After hearing a hard house set at gods 1 night i instantly developed a taste for said style so set about getting a few demo's into local clubs.
This resulted in me landing my 1st set at the legendary sunday club that was dropzone back in 2003.
That's where my dj'ing career started and from that day i've never looked back.
From there i was introduced to shaft which really helped me boost my career which shed a whole new meaning to the term "sunday clubbing" and that's where things really started to take off for me(nice 1 Mark H) resulting in regular sets at shaft, dropzone, fluffy, subway and a residency at liquid@canal club wolves.
I took a break from it all in 2005(turned into a bit of a lightweight)as the hard house/hardtrance scene just wasn't doing it for me.
I kept the decks set up at home and started to wander through many different genres until i found my feet with tech/progressive house.
A new love is born!
In 2007 a friend and i decided to start our own night based on tech/electro house in a small bar in a local town near where i live.
Doing this certainly re-lit my passion for playing to a crowd and in turn has certainly got my ass back into gear.
In april 2007 i was offered a few sets which saw me play at Que club,Europa(leeds),Subway(Brum),Rehab ibiza,Kanya Beach ibiza FUNKdeluxe in Ibiza june 08 all in a short space of time which in turn has certainly kick started my career.
On my return to ibiza in sept 08 i had the privilege of playing in Eden @ Judgement sundays and Fiesta Del Agua @ Es paradis which i must say was a truly moving experience and has def been the highlight in my career so far.
Getting into the promotion side of the clubbing scene has always been an aim in life for me,to put something back into the scene which has kept me going for so many years.
There's never a weekend now when i'm not out and about enjoying the birmingham club scene either on a night out or dishing out demo's or helping my mates promote their events.
I'm an easy going bloke as you that know me are well aware of,love meeting new faces when out n about so don't be shy as i'm not, feel free to give me a poke if you see me around!! Ciao for now.
I'd like to thank a few of my mates for helping me out along the way.
