hi im stuart alexander and here is a bit about my back round in the club scene . i started out at the age of 10 trying to mix old electro hip hop (1982) and was very involved with the break dance scene as time went on and the sound of chicago was big in the mid to late 80s i just knew it was for me so after a bit of a struggle trying to get my first set of turntables there was no looking back. mixing the great sounds as we know now as (old school house) after mixing in the bed room for a couple of years was just dreaming of playing in club any club in fact . and thats when it all started to come together was introduced to the legend that he is mike dredd he had a major influence on me straight away with his swift fast clean mixing of acid/techno i was addicted and so i started sending demos all over the uk and got lucky within a year was playing along side the worlds best (carl cox . aphex twin . mike dredd . dave valentine . colin dale . ect ) and maintained that for a couple of years . until i met my wife (anji) and family comitments some how put my music to one side but not out of my heart in the mid 90s . but im now back coming out of retirment (oct 07)in the new digital age mixing using laptops and also promoting our own events in house arrest playing from old school house to modern day electro house. hope to see and meet you in coming events
