I live in West Lothain between Glasgow and Edinburgh and I am in my mid-twenties. As I work in Edinburgh, this is where I normally go out. I used to do a fair amount of DJ'ing the Edinburgh circuit a couple of years ago (2001 untill about 2004), but things didn't quite continue as planned. None of the nights I played at have survived (I'm only a DJ, not a promoter!)

The sort of style I normally play when I get a set is House. I have had a guest mix on Beat 106 in the past and have done sets alongside Jim Shaft Rayn (Miss Moneypennies), Marshall Jefferson (often named as the Godfather of Chicago House) and Graeme Park.

On the slightly harder side, I have played the warm up set for a night that Yomanda was headlining, so as far as DJ'ing goes, I have had a fair bit of experience.

Started going clubbing to Room at The Top, Bathgate which is what gave me the taste for clubbing. This was when the Euro Trance scene was taking off in 1998/99 with the likes of Fragma - Toca me and the Thrillseekers - Synasthesia were the fresh tunes of the day. Still believe that this is where my heart truely lies.

I have had the oppertunity to play in Room at the Top on several occasions, and even played the main room, which I owe a massive thank you to Paul Mendez (former resident) for the set, and the tips and advice when starting out behind the decks.

Cluubing is a great community to be involved in and I enjoy hearing about everyone else's crazy nights out, who their favority DJ's are and what their favorite tracks are.

Look forward to hopefully meeting a few Don't Stay In spotters and hopefully some of the team when out on my travels.
