Its December 2008, two years down the road from my last update. I married my ICQ friend in Volgograd on the numerologically significant date of 07.07.07, still had to go back to UK when my Visa expired. Returned for 90 day across the International Cristmas and New Years Eve and day. Then celebrated Russian Christmas and New Year returning to UK after 90 days. As it happened thatwas my last return as I was issued with a residents permit im May 2008. So I will have been here in Volgograd Russia over a year before I return with my wife for a Holiday June-September 2009. Keep on rocking and dancing your socks off. Highlights of this year include the three-day Hi-Fi South at Winchester Hants UK and the four day 'State of Exit' festival in the Petrovaidisky Fortress Novi Sad Serbia. Plus three days just enjoing the city and its people. A new mecca for festival lovers.

My 67th birthday was absolutely, gobsmacking beautiful.2-4 July I met an ICQ chat friend and fell in love. This led to spending 14 days at a health spa in pjatisgorsk, a sort of honeymoon with loads of therapies, exercise and healthy eating Compensated for by an awful lot of unhealthy low priced vodka drinking and smoking. LOL

The second two weeks was spent in exploring each other and her historic city previously known as Stalingrad. All to soon it was back to UK and chasing around to get a longer vis 3 months this time I leave on 26th October

I haven't had a haircut since 1996 when my son took me to Club Fusion Bath and danced my socks off. I attended my first festival, Tribal Gathering up near Luton. since then I have danced at clubs and festivals around the south of England and ended up living and working at the Joiners for a couple of years. Joined the Safe in Sound drugs awareness project and get in free all expenses paid to the Guildhall, Homelands and the Reading Festival, plus an assortment of clubs around Southampton. Then in 2000 I was filmed dancing with my son at the Mass Brixton for BBC2 TV - Forever Young and started working with Street and Carnival Events. Last year I was awarded a Community Champions grant to create art, dance and music events across south Hampshire. I also work with Reading Welfare Point, Big Arts Week and the Totton & Eling Carnival.
