Hi my names George. I also go under the alias of The Chippan, Chipie or The Chipster. This nickname dates back from Cheeky Little Monkey. At a very messy after party at our resident DJ's hse (Jody O), i covered his kitchen and every1 in it in the oil from his chippan. I would just like to add that this was an accident and not just what i do in peoples houses! Luckily Fergie had played for us that night and in his messy state returned from the bog wrapped in an entire toilet roll. We unraveled him and mopped up all the fat with his coat of Kleenex. So all was not lost. I grew up in Lymington but moved to Bournemouth when is was 16 in 1996. Started going to Obsession at the Venue and the Opera House then discovered the Manor. Didn't look back and became spot welded to the place. Coming out of the Manor one night i got approached by a local promoter who asked me if i would be interested in doing some promotions for a new Hard House night that was starting soon at the Showbar. Enter Cheeky Little Monkey! Had a fabulous time and met some fabulous people. In my opinion it was one of the best if not the best night out Bournemouth has ever had to offer. But all good things must come to an end, Cheeky RIP. Was so glad when Marc and co started Frenzy as there was going to be a serious hard hse drought. Am now a Frenzy regular. In my opinion its the best night in Bmth, Cheeky part deux with less politics but more flabby areas and wrinkles! Good music, good crowd, amazing flyers, awsome venue and great atmosphere. Long may it reign!
