Dj Tipztar is one of Grimsbys most Renowned young Dj's only being 21, he has already had a lot of publicity through Dj'ing.
Richard Tipple A.k.A Dj Tipztar has had Lots of experience since he started (End of 2002) His starting point was August 21st 2003 where Tipztar played a live set on BBC Radio Humbersides 'Raw Talent' show Followed by an interview with Allan Raw 3 days prior to his first ever Festival ('Grassroots 2003') on August 24th 2003, so that was a real turning point for Richard and alot more work came his way. He then went on to doing a bit of work along side his DJ Tutor, 'David Okwesia' A.k.A 'Dj Redlocz' where he took part in many other big events working in nightclubs, Boxathon's, Cafe bars, summer music Festivals, Club Warm ups, he Also had some work at Cleethorpes club Hotspot 'Pier 39'.
Since then Richard has been so dedicated to dj'ing that he has decided to start up his own buisness in DJ Tutoring, working around local schools and youth clubs in the grimsby area with young people to help keep there lives on track, stay clear of drugs, and basically keep them out of trouble.
Dj Tipztar was set up in 2005 by the Princes Trust in order to engage other young people in positive activities and also music.
Richard is closely supported by the Arts Development Team as well as the Youth Music Action Zone.
He has worked alongside the finest in UK Hip Hop such as, Dj Redlocz(Founder of Full Flava), Baby Jinx(Low Life Records), Redeye, Hakima, Lethal Bizzle, Streetlife, Kamanchi Sly formerly known as Unknown Mc & MC OK (Original Killer) from the Pied Piper Crew who had the smashin' number one hit 'Do you really like it', Shaun Clarke A.k.A Venemous Tings, Cause N Fx (Leeds Based MC's), Titanium crew and many more.....(too many to mention)
Recently he has been brought back to the local front helping out at a couple of Goodtimes Events for Local house DJ's Si westfild, Karl Mumby, and Lee Sparkes..... rippin his stuff wiv funky/ electro house....
he is currently one of many eXstream radio DJ's ... Ranked top DJ on the station..... where he puts alot of time, effort and hours in to provide the public with various shows with various styles..
