Hi my name is Tina and i have been raving for the last 14 years. During that time i have seen alot of changes (strange that!) but still have as mush passion for it today as i always have.
Music is such a very big part of my life. For me it has to be proper stomping, No swing your pants stuff (if your going to do it, you may as well do it properly!!)
My first passion is stomping hardcore followed closely by nasty dirty gabba. I also don't mind some hardhouse but am so fussy when it comes to hardhouse. For me there are far too many hardhouse dj's in the scene who play far too slow. Music for me has to be stomping not dance round your handbag style.
I enjoy going to all the big events but my most enjoyable nights are at the smaller clubs. High voltage is one night I would not miss, even with two broken legs. It has an atmosphere only other clubs can dream of and never leaves you feeling disappointed. Nights like this is what keeps our scene alive. It's a night put on by party people for party people and not many can say that. Far too many of our clubs these days are full of politics (It's meant to be fun). Respect to Maria and Paul at High Voltage for keeping it real.
I would also have to say one of the most important parts of my life are my friends. In a world full of people only interested in them selves, I am so lucky to have the most special true friends any one could wish for. Without true friends who are we?????. Thanks guys you know who you are.
Lastly I would like to say how very proud I am of the love of my life Fred aka Fast freddy, who has always been true to himself. He has got where he is today as a respected dj through being himself. Not telling people what they want to hear and becoming their lap dog. He is a party person first then a DJ second. If everyone in our scene was like him what an even better place it would be. TOTAL RESPECT.
