Biography >
Dj Twista’s love for Dj’ing began in the early 90’s
when he was introduced to the fundamentals on a
friends home setup.
His career quickly took off with a weekly residency
in a local wine bar in the picturesque tourist town of
Malvern, in the heart of the Midlands. After taking
the local club scene by storm, he began to move
further afield. By the late 90’s the “Twisted” brand
of hard house and trance was firmly established
and demand was high in city centre nightclubs in
nearby Worcester and Hereford.
A natural progression in career was to introduce his
style to holiday clubbers across Europe, bringing
a new approach in dance music appreciation.
Following a hugely successful four years abroad,
Twista felt the need to return to the UK to bring
his music ‘back home’. Bournemouth, he decided,
was the ideal platform to launch a varied, crowdrespondant,
range of beats to both local and
travellers alike.
With his enthusiastic, crowd-provoking, energetic
style and total dedication to raising a club’s profile,
DJ Twista never fails to produce a memorable night
out!
Currently Dj’ing in some of Bournemouth’s most
discerning nightspots, Twista adds: “I often play my
last tune, take a sound system down to the beach
and continue the party until sunrise”.

ADDICTED TO HOUSE


started at Bar Bluu (Bournemouth) November 2006, a weekly night offering some of the best local DJ’s playing funky/electro/uplifting / vocal house until the early hours of the morning. After a few weeks we felt the venue was not the right place for a house night and decided to move the event. Addicted To House changed venues to Oscars (Bournemouth) every Saturday night where it has built in to one of the top house nights in town and still going strong every Saturday.
Addicted to House has also hosted rooms at Hidden(London) & Slinky(Bournemouth)


ADDICTED TO HARD & BOUNCY


was born 22nd December 2006 at Bar Bluu (Bournemouth)
This is a weekly Hard House/Trance night offering a great night out for the local hard dance scene, also using local DJ’s and monthly headliners successfully every week.
The night has gone from strength to strength ever since the launch night with the likes of Andy Farley, Wid&Ben, Caz Wood, Paul Glazby all making guest appearances on our nights.
The night has become one of the most popular nights in Bournemouth now with comments from our clients like: “we feel part of one big family” and “such a happy vibe and friendly atmosphere every week, you never see any trouble’


ADDICTED TO HARDCORE (ATH)


became the third genra in the three Addicted brands and since the hugely succesfull opening night in April with DJ Sharkey the night has become the place to be, every first Friday of the month. We work with all the popular promotions and record lables in the Hardcore scene such as Firewall (South Wests number 1 Hard Dance Night) Turbulence Hardcore, Thin ‘n’ Chrispy Recordings, Electric Records, Next Generation and Blatent Beats to to bring ravers an amazing night to remember!

The person who started Addicted is Adrian (DJ Twista) who has been a DJ since 1994 travelling around the UK and Europe with a vast experience in the clubbing scene DJ’ing in some of the top clubs home and abroad. He thrives on putting great nights on and always uses local up and coming DJ’s giving them a chance to play out and has gained lots of respect for this.

Trancevision is my newest brand which has turned into the best trance night in Bournemouth


Our main resident DJ’s are all very professional in what they do always pleasing the crowd and making the night a night to remember.

We also use a number of DJ’s regularly in Bournemouth, some who have been popular local DJ’s for some years, and some who we have helped break into the Bournemouth Clubbing scene which we hope to do for local DJ’s in your area!
