Hello all, I'm Dj Upalnite, co-owner of the Blackburn Ravers alongside DJ NJ & co-owner Of V.L.U along with DJ NJ, MC Arnie & MC Twist. I've been into the hardcore scene since the year 2000 when me, NJ and a few mates used to travel down to Manchester for a monthly event called Bowlers! . We then lost touch with hardcore scene for a while whilst it went through a bad patch but we once again set off on our travels to slammin vinyl's last ever event at the sanctuary in Milton Keynes which kick started our hardcore story again as we travelled the uk attending events left right and center.

I started djing at the end of 2004 just messing about with Scott Brown and Sy & Unknown tunes to try and get a feel for it all, with help from a true Blackburn Raver 'Dj Littlefella' (James Flannagan) R.I.P i started to pick it up and started djing on the BRC first radio station which i ran and owned by Dj Triptech the station was Newtechpirates and is a top internet radio station so tune in and check out the talent! Then we played on Oldskool Pirates for a short period. After that came Ultraviolent Sounds owned by our good friend psycho sister from the forest of dean, we still play on here every sunday @ 6pm (GMT) so check us out. We also played on HNR which gave us our first residency down at the factory, vauxhall, london.

We are currantly planned our new event in Manchester ran by Me, DJ NJ, MC Arnie & MC Twist called V.L.U (Very Loud Underground), this should be another start to good things with it all looking to be a top event ready to smash up manchester.
