Hello, I'm Vrij!
I'm real simple in that I love clubbing! Whether its with friends or on my own, nothing beats my love for seeing my favourite DJ's and hearing my favourite tunes being blasted out. As a result, I do travel around as its good to see different sides of the UK but seeing as I'm living in London, most of the time, its easier for me to end up at the Gallery for a trance night.
Oh yeah, I do love trance...can't say I have much time for any other genres of music. DJ's that I love and there are no surprises here, are Armin van Buuren and Above and Beyond.
In my opinion, nothing can beat the experience of seeing them at Air@Godskitchen, Birmingham. Nights there have simply been the best of my life...but of course, I do miss the other two clubs that have also given me some great memories, one being Gatecrasher1 (only having been there once to see PvD's 6hr set) and of course, Turnmills. Words will never be enough to explain how much Turnmills impacted my life.
But as always, life goes on and so currently I'm warming up to the Gallery's new home, the Ministry of Sound and of course, the Sheffield Carling Academy, as Gaterasher's temporary new home.
Anyway, if you're a regular clubber, I'm sure I've seen you before. And I guess on that note, I'll probably see you again sometime soon!
