Born in 1981, somewhere in between Liverpool & Manchester in the small town of St Helens.
Inspired by the likes of the Chemical Brothers, Underworld & Daft Punk, he got a set of decks shortly after buying his first sampler, with the idea of taking samples from old records. Along with the many hours spent tweaking away at knobs creating beats, bleeps, & all kinds of twisted electronic sounds, he discovered how much fun it could be to mix two records together.
Since then he found himself devoting more & more time & money on a rather unhealthy addiction to new music & a love for DJing. He went on to DJing out playing all sorts of lovely electronic sounds at various nights throughout England, playing gigs in the capital & even Ibiza, also supporting bands, putting on a few nights of his own, & playing & producing as part of the Disko Ticklerz & Brothers Of Woo.
More recently a mix of his was featured in iDJ Magazines Raw Talent section, coming runner up with a mix of Minimal/Tech House & Techno. They said 'this is exactly the kind of deep, gritty, minimalism people should be crying out to hear!'.
After years of mainly focusing on DJing he is now getting back to where it all started, messing with sounds & producing, in a big way. The DJ gigs have eased off a bit & he is just as happy to be spending the weekends in the studio as rocking the dance floor, for now.
Not long after getting back to grips with the studio DJ Magazine picked up on a track of his saying 'Sounding like ants on acid...He sounds like Matthew Dear's Audion project, We're suprised to know he is still unsigned...Labels, get in touch with him please'.
Labels did get in touch, & a handful of his tracks are now signed, expect releases from him on Variance, Hypercolour & Minimar, along with remixing for various other labels.
