Defqon 1 Festival

On saturday june 16th, de 5th edition of Defqon takes place on Almere beach. In this newsletter you'll find out everything you need to know as a visitor.

Sold out
Defqon 1 is sold out. We strongly advise against buying tickets on the black market. All tickets will be scanned to see whether they're valid or not.

Identification
There will be severe controls on age, the minimum age is 18. Make sure that you have some valid identification with you, otherwise you won't be allowed to enter! A copy is NOT seen as a valid identification.

Timetable
Next wednesday we will announce the timetable on Q-dance.nl

Defqon 1 Live on air
Defqon 1 will be broadcast live on Q-dance.nl and on air in a radius of about 15 km around the festival. Next week we will announce the frequency. You can listen to the frequency from 9AM to 2AM.

Bus trips
If you're organising a bus trip yourself, quickly send a mail to busreizen@q-dance.nl en announce your bus. You will then receive all information needed and information about parking.

Digital camera's
Since Defqon 1 2005 it's allowed to take a digital photocamera with you on Q-dance events. This year it's also allowed. Videocameras are not allowed.

Vaults
At Defqon 1, there are only vaults for rent, so there will be no wardrobe(?)! You can access the vault freely during the festival.

Drugs
We have to follow the local policy of Almere, which is strict. Take care of what you take with you because controls will be very thorough.

Stuff
We get a lot of questions about people taking stuff with them. Food and drinks may not be taken on to the festival grounds. Deoderant and sunburn oil(?) may only be taken with you if they are in their original, closed package. Spraycans under pressure(?) and perfume bottles may not be taken with you.

Peeing in public
This year there will be severe punishments for peeing in public. All toilets are free, so use them.

Defqon 1 DVD
There will be a Defqon 1 2006 DVD. In this -limited edition- pack, you can find extra's and a CD with the the Showtek liveset besides the DVD. Up untill now, all Q-dance DVD's have been sold out. So be quick.

Defqon 1 CD
On the festival you can buy the Defqon 1 CD. Divided over 3 CD's you can find 8 different mixes from 8 different DJ's who will be present on june 16th. CD 1 will have the mixes from The Prophet and Zany. CD 2 will contain the mixes of Jowan & Dr. Willis, Q-IC & Manu Kenton and Dr. Rude. CD 3 will have the mixes of DJ Rob, Vince and D-Passion.

yes, but the dutch one's are in ground & kept at a temp of 8c so as to keep the contents fresh & safe from crime, a bit like a mud hut where you can keep precious treasures safe, it will only asnwer in dutch though so dont try to call it in english.
