Yeah that #1 spot wont be going anywhere anytime soon, the mixing and selection was so good he could of been playing a 9hr CD.

Cant believe how many older european fans Armin has got i felt like a kid at 23.

Never ever have i had such an emotional expereince, tune after tune and the bloody lasers were the best i have ever come across.

the mixing and selection was so good

selection was spot on yeah, but the mixing was a real problem for the most of the night, im not sure if it was a moniter problem or something else but armin cudnt really maintain a mix for longer then 10 seconds, this isnt a rant as ive had a wonderful time regardless but was wondering if anyone else picked up on the mistakes

Well if we are knit picking id say he didnt play enough harder songs i like a bit of techno with my trance but i assume that to be because it was live on Dutch TV but as far as the flow of his set goes i couldnt see where he would have fitted tech in. Few of my mates who are into the lighter side of Trance said it was perfect and rightly so.

I downloaded and watched the Dutch TV coverage yesterday didnt really notice a problem with any mixing but i am not a DJ and basically dont know shit.

Cant say I really noticed any mistakes with the mixing to be honest. I was down the front for the most part of the night and the sound there was crystal clear so would have thought I'd have picked up on mistakes if the night was riddled with bad mixes as you say.

Awesome awesome night.......... !!! I didnt know clubbing could be this enjoyable !!

Once Laser mentioned a few mistakes I did think back.........If there was loads then they were lil ones that dj's themselves would pick up on, I did think a couple of times "did he crash that mix" , but then again I was so far lost in the atmosphere, the lasers, the people and the MUSIC I didnt really care !

The sound all depended where you were stood in the arena as well. If you were centrally located then the sound was crystal clear as the speaker stacks were all centrally mounted, so being stood at the sides of the arena or in the front section behind the DJ booth where the toilets were then the sound wasn't as good. Like I said I was at the front for most of the night (and I DJ myself so listen to the mixing) and I didn't pick up on beats being dropped left, right and centre.

Like you say though, it was all about the music :-)
