New iphone application available to find the best nightlife in London

New iphone application to answer your entire nightlife worries! Smirnoff and Timeout are collaborating to launch a new application on December 14 2009, which will be the ultimate tool for discovering the best nightlife and entertainment in London.

Every week, at the touch of a button you will be exposed to the very best culture, nightlife, and eating out chosen by Time Out editors.

The application suggests activities nearby and event previews and lets you invite people along, flagging up events that appeal to your friends. What’s more event listings are updated on a daily basis telling you all the best action in London.

Pick your favourite tune to hear your 2010 with a bang!

One of the leading weekly club nights in the world is back to take over Ministry of Sound for New Years Ever. However, it is up to YOU to decide which tune gets played at midnight.

Gallery favourites Tall Paul and Judge Jules have picked ten of the biggest tunes from The Gallery musical vault. All you have to do is take part in The Midnight Track Poll and cast your all-important vote by visiting thegallery-club.co.uk

That is not all..Sander van Doorn will be making his only UK show appearance on NYE and will be flying in on a private jet especially for the night. Matt Hardwick, Riley and Durrant will also be joining in on the action.

License suspended at Leeds' Victoria Warehouse

The license has been suspended at Leeds club, The Victoria Works. Police feared the venue was not far from 'a drugs fatality'.

A police report said: ‘These premises have a history of staging high-risk events which attract customers associated with serious crime and class A drug dealing”.

The 2,000 capacity venue is one of Leeds most renowned clubs home to Leeds' biggest clubbing institutions- Federation and Dirty Disco .

According to the police the likelihood of drugs or serious injury had been occurring at the club since June 2009 and appeared to be still happening in October 2009 which led to the clubs closure. The management insisted everyone was searched on entering the club.

The licence will be reviewed on December 11.

Free Corona party at Ministry of Sound

It's the grand finale of the 2009 Corona DJ competition on December 3.

The 14 finalists will now compete for the prize where Felix Da Housecat and Junior Jack will be headlining the event.

The winner gets four DJ sets at the world famous Ministry of Sound Club and has the chance to play alongside Junior Jack in Spain. Doors open at 2200.
