EXCULISIVE INTERVIEW WITH TEAM @ BANG!!
Well here it is guys after such a brilliant last 9 months for Bang we thought it be wicked time to interview the guys at Bang and see how they are getting on. Bang is becoming a very successful event in Bournemouth with its top resident dj's and guest dj's also with their resident dancers and mc's everyone at bang works together to bring you a top night.

Hey guys how are you both? Bang has been hitting it off more and more so I thought I would take this opportunity to interview you both to see just how you’re getting on.

Well Bang coming up to its 1st birthday in September, have you enjoyed it?
Yes we have both loved every minute of it, although it has been - as any promoter will tell you - very hard work. You can’t just get a venue, put on a few DJs, open the doors and expect people to turn up! There is a lot that goes on behind the scenes and we are very lucky in the fact that although we both run Bang there is a whole team of people who all work very hard to promote and support the night, that along with carefully hand-picked line-ups is why we are one of Bournemouth’s most successful up and coming hard dance nights.

You’ve had some wicked DJs playing at Bang like Supreme, Matt Harris from the Organ Donors and the Chunky Boys to name a few. Have you got any more wicked DJs on your must have list?
One of the things we do for the clubbers that attend our events, is to make sure they are the first people to see the next line-ups so we never disclose our wish list, but what we can tell you is that as Bang grows so do our line-ups and we can tell you that we have some amazing DJs in mind to play over the next year at Bang, we also are going to introduce some exciting new ideas for the night so watch this space!

What emotions and feelings do you get when you see people enjoying themselves at Bang and enjoying the music?
That’s the best part for us. When you have worked hard on an event for a whole month trying to figure out different ways of promoting and making sure you have done the best you can; booking all the DJs, working out set times, putting up posters and standing outside clubs in the early hours of the morning flyering, then just hoping all our hard work pays off on the event night. So when the club fills and everyone is having a good time and the DJs play good sets, that’s what makes it all worthwhile, that’s what we do it for and that is the best reward you can get as a promoter.

What’s it like running a event in Bournemouth? Do they like Hardstyle and Hardcore at the same event being as both are completely different styles of music?
Bournemouth is a fantastic place to hold an event as there is a very big hard dance following here. It has one of the biggest dance scenes in the country and yes it is true that Hardstyle and hardcore are very different styles of music but the two come hand in hand and there are a lot of people who like both, so it means we can also cater for a wider range of clubbers. Being as one of us is a hardcore DJ and the other is a Hardstyle DJ it means that we have a lot of experience in both genres.

Has being next to The Old Fire Station and the Opera House effected Bang at all?
It doesn’t really affect us being so close to those venues because before we confirm our dates we check to see what other events are on and do our best to avoid any clashes. Also these venues don’t necessarily put on hard dance events every weekend, in fact we can’t remember the last time The Old Fire Station had a Hard Dance night and the Opera House might have 1, maybe 2 a month. Plus there are a lot of dedicated clubbers out there and over the last year we have gained a good following.

What plans have you got for future events?
As we said before this coming year we are introducing some new exciting ideas for the night. We can’t say too much at the mo but one of the things we have in the next few months is two VS nights. We also have plans for New Club Decor, Giveaways and Competitions for Free Entry.

The coming year will be a very exciting year for Bang!

Thanks guys for your time and I wish you all the best for future Bangs!!
All my love
Miss-Tiggs
