A huge thanks to everyone that turned out for the sell out Gatecrasher NYE 07 gig at mambo nightclub, exeter.

As my last event at the venue ever I can wholeheartedly say that it was the best of all of them!

The crowd and the atmosphere was simply amazing!

Huge thanks to Niklas Harding, Solarstone, Simon Pitt and Lee H for keeping the corwd buzzing for such a long period of time!
I must say that honestly it was the best set that I have ever had the priviledge of playing too! Simply awesome!

All the brave people that endured the rain to get to the club know that it was worth the damp shoulders and lack of hair gel in hair by the time they got there!

Still cannot believe that the dancefloor was packed for 6 hours! non stop raving!

Exeter well done again, the last 2 weeks has seen some amazing turnouts for the dance music scene and makes me feel so proud for putting the effort into the nights just to see the looks on your faces when classic tracks "like take me away" and "anthem" are pumped out full blast!

2007 was a great year for rejuvinating the scene and 2008 is going to be a amazing fest for the hard dance fans!

as i understand it the decision to move the r n b thing upstairs and drop the funky / old skool / house line up from room 2 was made by the club owner, not the promoter

That is exactly how I understand it too.

Ill tell you exactlly how the feathers fell on the floor for this ok.

My plan was to host 3 rooms, gatecrasher, PHunky and Rnb hip hop room.

for a £10 ticket you got access for all rooms, for £5 ticket you only got rnb hip hop (cos they really dont like trance ive found)

Because the club owner thought the tickets for this event were better to be kept in his safe unitl 2 1/2 weeks before event we were not able to sell enough tickets and it was his decision to cancel the 3rd room rnb hip hop

I managed to sort it so that at least the 2nd room could host 2 genres over the night.

I aslo had no control over the doors shutting at 3.30 and the club shutting at 4.30 (which does make me sound like a no balls promoter but most people know the strife ive had for 7 months)

S'ok, the club owner can go back to playing chart mp3s and shit commercial dance, and having a club full of piss heads, and we'll have the good music and atmo.
