Now, I know this is ridiculously hard to believe... we've hardly had a sniff of good weather, the number of non drizzle weekends this year can be counted on one hand.. and here we are in June and still the sun is struggling to stay out... BUT this weekend it is the longest day of the year and our summer solstice.

On the upside however, this Saturday not only is the weather man saying it will be gorgeous, but there is a bash going down which will definately be the best way of making the most of the extended sunlight!

Social Vs Chix in da Mix brings you their joint Summer solstice BBQ at one of Camden's most intimate venues the Lockside Tavern.
Placed away from the hectic Camden High Street in the vivid juxtaposed surroundings of lock and market sprawl, the 1st floor leveled Lockside Lounge is a such a great little venue, providing the base for some crackin summer parties. From their large, sun drenched decked balcony, complete with pub benches and burgers from the barbie - prime for chatting some codshite and chilling with friends (old and new).. to their long main room with stylish decor, kitted out with some loud ass speakers and a great bar supplied with lots of nice beers and juicy cocktails.. the atmosphere on the dancefloor gets nice and banging...

And boy oh boy will it be banging!!
16 DJs - girls and boys will be battling their way through the day, slamming a mixture of hip hop, breaks, electro and other eclectic ear carnage to get your summer soul rockin and a shockin!
An absolute smattering of well up for it spinsters on show.. Superstyle djs (breakspol noms), Future Funk Squad and Social co founder Richie Balboa to name but a few... DnB influenced French legend Flore, 'mother of break beat' Tamsin and Mini da minx to name a few more! the strength in depth of this line up is emmense!!

2pm till 2am - FREE before 6pm, £3 until 8pm and £7 after ... this bound to be banging night comes highly recomended..
gaurenteed to be a day of happy party people, happily partying away... join the fun a get your get on for every last ray of sunshine!! ... and the rest of the night as well, of course ;)
