After the Success of the 1st Global Meltdown back in Febuary, Firewall & Atmosphere, The Southwests 2 Leading Hardcore, Hardstyle & Hard Trance Nights join forces again to bring you The Second Coming of this Massive 2500 Capacity Event over 2 Rooms at the Mega Westland Arena in Yeovil!!





ALEX KIDD

Headlining Event 2 on our amazing main stage is the one and only ALEX KIDD who was recently Voted Biggest Party Animal 2009 as well as taking Dj of the year in 2008 at the Hard Dance Awards. The Kiddstock mentalist will be smashing out anything and everything from Hard Trance to Techno to Hardstyle throughout his set! We are proud to welcome Alex Kidd to Global Meltdown!





HIXXY

Another Global Meltdown debutant is none other than HTID's head honcho HIXXY! The outstanding achiever will have you stomping all night to the sounds of his multi award winning Record Label, RAVERBABY! Being in such high demand, this is one of very few appearances that Hixxy will be making for the Firewall & Atmosphere crews, so be sure not to miss the original don touching down at Global Meltdown.





MARK EG

Returning once again to our mega Main Arena, the Mad Magician of all Things Hard MARK-EG will be smashing the place apart (probably quite literally!!) with his unique selection of beats and madcap stage antics. As well as an exclusive set full of Hardstyle, Mark E.G will also be playing a selection of the new sound he is pioneering, Clubstyle. So keep those ears peeled.





SY & WHIZZKID

Hardcore's scratch master and Quosh Records head honcho DJ SY will be rinsing out the bouncy uplifting Hardcore sound he has become known for. Along with his set we have Hardcore's number 1 MC, the very polite and very awesome WHIZZKID! He'll be 'cool like the Fonz' along with SY's set for yet another wicked event @ The Westland Arena.





M-ZONE

Up next on the 1's & 2's we have another Hard Trance & Hardstyle Legend M-ZONE! Some GUARANTEED stompage will be taking place for his set as he works the rave rinsing out some of the best new music the scene has to offer!





DOUGAL

Uplifting Hardcore pioneer and living legend, DOUGAL is yet another reason to get down to this massive event! Essential Platinum's main man graces us with his presence for his debut set at Global Meltdown.





FRANTIC

In Firewall's corner, we play a top DJ who has been with Hardcore from Day 1! FRANTIC from Return Of The Clans records will be smashing it out again for Round 2 @ The Westland Arena!





WRAGG & MAJOR TOM

In the Atmosphere corner, Wragg & Major Tom will kicking off the proceedings with their upfront selection of Hard Trance fresh from the atmosphere studios. With both men having many years of experience you can be sure they know how to get the party started right!





YOUR HOSTS...

Your hosts for this wicked event on the main stage will be WHIZZKID (As Mentioned Above), the one and only RIBBZ, South West legends and firm Firewall & Atmosphere Favourites SI THE SIGH & ADGER, and Hardcore's breakthrough MC of the year 2008 ENEMY will be showing us his Lethal Theory!





In Arena 2 we once again have a selection of the best South West’s DJ's & MC's which is once again hosted by the mighty GROOVESWITCH. Heading this room is Resonate resident and future star IAIN CROSS bringing his sound to Westland Arena. Next up we have Hard Dance Awards regional hero Winner NICK THE KID going B2B with Plymouth based Hard Trance producer LOUK. Representing Firewall we have BISHOP who has recently been nominated for best breakthrough DJ in the Hardcore Heaven Awards this Year! Stepping up to the Decks we play Hardcore Distortion boss and Local Yeovil hero OUTBURST who will be going head to head with Bassline Records very own KICKBACK. Grooveswitch's Main Man BARGEE will be spinning us some propa stomping Hard Trance & Hardstyle. An exclusive set never been seen before, from Firewall CHUBBA will be rinsing out some Hardcore beats with FINGERZ from Bang & Addicted To Hardcore in Bournemouth. Also from Firewall, we have wicked MC who rocks the Palace main room every Bank Holiday Sunday, MOTION will be showing us his lyrical skills! Not forgetting the rest of the Grooveswith Residents, BAKER who has played for Firewall in the past will be mixing up the sounds of the Core.
CEEJAY & DARTHFADER have it out on the decks rinsing the Hard Trance & Hardstyle! And Resident MC's BOSHNIER & SCATTY-D will be flexing their rhymes on the mic in Arena 2! Also, a Shout out to LUKE (MR P) and ANDY (SCOUSE) who are also founding members of Groveswitch. Neither of them play out but they pull their weight in the wee hours and are definitely part of the glue that holds GSP together!
