It was always going to be a challenging one bringing a new sound to a town that is well known for its vibrent night life thanks to all the students. Theri has been a number of promoters bringing in various sounds with some or minimal success.

absolute UNDERGROUND's first event really took the town by its neck and forced a new sound its peoples ears and the results was mad.

Danny Roberts absolutly smashed the place and got the bar rocking to his smooth tehcno sounds. The order of the night was accessable music - Deep House, Minimal and Techno, which went down a treat.

Being only a fairly small but ultra popular venue the Custard bar a great buzz about the place and was busy, the front dorrs were open and we filled the street with a great new sound.

All in all for a free party at one of the towns coolest bars what more could you ask for.
