What is Connected Events Manchester?

This is the space for all things related to our event Connected (Events Manchester)

There are so many nights to choose from these days, BUT we have a few differences!

1.) We treat our members like they are family, not just another number in the pot!

2.) We have THE cheapest entry price in Manchester without compromising on quality!

You'll have more money in your pocket to rinse that bar dry with us!

James Renfrew and Saiful met on the Anjunabeats forums in April 2007, there was a topic James created asking if there was anybody wanting to do an event in the North West, and "Sai" said he'd be interested.

As Sai only lives a few miles from James they hooked up for a few mix sessions to see if they could create a vibe, this instantly followed and they both knew they were on the same wavelength.

So began the planning of starting their own event.

After lots of preparation, the launch party took place on the 20th October 2007 at ScuBar on Oxford Rd in Manchester.

They had the ever present producer/Dj Activa of Vandit/Discover/Liquid Recordings headline their launch party, and also Ben Nicky of Abstract Recordings.

The second event followed in the Spring of this year on the 2nd May at Revolution Oxford Rd, Manchester.

This time around they had of the most prolific artists besides head honchos Above & Beyond on the hugely successful label Anjunabeats in Oliver Smith (one half of Smith & Pledger).

With all the people in attendance enjoying their night at Connected James and Sai continue to organize events in the vain of expanding their fan base to share a room with like minded music people.

Their next adventure is fast approaching on the 30th August again at Revolution Oxford Rd where they are hosting a Charity Event in aid of the British Deaf Association.

Headlining on this occasion is Divine Inspiration, the name responsible for the top 5 chart track and one of the most played tracks of 2003 "The Way"

As the brand is still in it's early days the people who support James and Sai's events are part of the evolution of Connected (Events Manchester), in the future there are big plans for big occasions, with their intimate fan base on board together they will make the journey to the unknown, let time show you what becomes of this!!!!
