Gatecrasher’s Watford club Area had a decadent makeover in 2009 to critical acclaim. This October also saw the opening of Ultra Gatecrasher in Nottingham which has been restructured taking inspiration from the darker more underground live music scene. Gatecrasher also continues its dominance in the north with its Leeds club Gatecrasher 7 going from strength to strength and a new Sheffield club to be launched soon."

So there we have it the same old news we have heard but at least they still have Sheffield in mind. Maybe people can relax now.

I went to the re-launch of OTR on friday and I had such an amazing time. The crowd was really friendly and the line up was just brilliant. Jon O'bir did not falter and played an excellent set, followed by Solarstone. I was dancing on a sprained ankle but the pain was worth it, top top night. The only downside for me was J00f playing a psy-trance set, I stuck it out for as best i could but eventually my bed began calling me.

I've only recently moved back up north from the south, however musically if this is a taste of more great things to come then i'm glad i made the transition from the harder music genre that seems to be enveloping the capital at rapid speeds. Meh..

I went and saw the site of Republic when i left (the first time i've been since the tragic day) Can't believe it's no just a pile of rubble, sooo many memories were held in that place and I have to be a bit sad now and admit it was emotional to see what is now left of the great club.

Gatecrasher to me will always be about the perfect trance night, so it they do rebuild it, lets hope they dedicate it to what it used to stand for!!

Maybe just maybe there will be more than one white party? Ok i know i am getting my hopes up here but lets say they open a new club and this is the first night it will be high in demand so will sell out and maybe they will try their luck with another night on in a different city so people don't miss out as such? Like i said i am getting my hopes up but with GC being poor at the minute maybe their minds have been elsewhere?

yer im gunna get my first taste of godz in two week at butlins lol ...... i no it wont be the normal trance crowd and be full of holiday maker type people but gunna be a good weekend . might just have to wear the lion cyber shirt ha ha

The club 18-30 reunion? If so it says exactly what it is in the title..Club 18-30. Went last year and had a brilliant weekend and not one bit of trouble. Alot of people will sl*g it off as it is everyone out to get as wasted as possible but it is actually a good weekend, enjoy!

i worked one of their 18-30s reunion weekends back in 2000, was good with good atmosphere and no trouble at all but deffo very mainstream. having said that it was a long time ago, things may have changed.

Neither does the Sheffield Academy either.

I'm guessing there's more than 1 White Party from what you found on Marco's website.

Lets hope there's one in Sheffield as I'm another definite no no for Notts.

Im doing the 20s / first choice weekended ...... it was cheaper than 18/30s lol .......and 18/30s are a bit err ........ divvy lol , 20s seem to be in more control of there guests when i was abroad lol ......same line up tho so should be a laf.

as for white party i hope theres one in sheff , like i said before we booking a bus for 33 people lol

I do agree.

NO2 played a blinder at OTR last year albeit mostly classics. Could say it was too safe but who cared the crowd were pleased by the likes of Synthaesia.

Also, I'm surprised neither OTR, DS (to my knowledge), or Crasher have had Sophie Sugar on. She's been around since 2006 to my knowledge although I only found out about her recently. However, she has had some recent cracking releases, reminds me very much of Sean Tyas in style.

Sophie played at DS not last month the month before, I missed it as was away but apparently she played a blinder. A few of the lads from DS I was chatting to at Crasher last month said she destroyed the place.

Peeps there's no White party in Sheff, Notts and Oxford only and a Crasher Club Anthems tour night at Leeds Crasher on 28th Nov. Don't mean to be a party pooper but it aint happening...

Gatecrasher till i fuckin die, i dont give a shit what anyone says but no one does trance like gatecrasher. people/nights have done a good job at helping trance get back up there but it still doesn't do it for me quite like gatecrasher trance.
I hope they are building from scratch coz when i went to off the rails i saw the portacabin that had appeared on the old site but i wont get my hopes up x

Without a doubt mate , But like when you follow your fav footy team ..............Theres gotta be communication with the fans or you end up playing in a empty stadium with no surport

It would be nice if crasher said , right sheffs not happening - we got notts open etc .... so we have time to plan our night rather then doing this putting a advert on there site that has no wrighting on it and a banner for gatecrasher ultra on the sheef page !

I hate Christmas, its really depressing at my house for various family reasons and the white party is the only thing i look forward to Christmas for x
