I recently got a new DJM800 mixer, I think perhaps at some points I got a little excited with the effects, hopefully not too excited!!

it sounds like your pressing the in and out buttons in quick succession you know where you loop a small section of the track?
Or i guess a mixer with the fx could give you the appropriate results of sounding like that. :)

aha that will be a combination of the Roll / Reverse Roll FX on the DJM800, plus the Loop function on the CDJ1000.

It's a very cool effect if you can get it right, but can be quite tricky and sounds crap if you mis-time it!

I've started to use it a bit just to fuck up tracks for the hell of it haha...i think you've got the balance right, but then i am an FX whore i got the Numark 5000FX which is just a silly mixer for FX haha.

It fucks me off!
