Just dropping in to give you a heads up on what's been going with me over the past month.

Starting off on the first May bank holiday (May 2nd), I was booked to play for Parlez Vous? Parlez always has a great atmosphere and is somewhere were all areas of hard dance is well received, which gave me the opportunity to really test how wide spread the genre of music is in my box. The energy was rocking and I'm glad to say my set went down well, with a people wanting me to sign my promo I handed out on the night! Autographs are always fun to do however I won't start thinking I'm at superstar status just yet!!

Next up was Deviant at the Leeds club 'Kerbcrawler. With the likes of Karim and Detective Audio on the line up I had to take things on more of hard house vibe, rather than the usual uplifting sounds I'm used to playing. I was warming up which a lot of dj's coming through seem to turn their nose up at, but for me its one of the most important sets of the night and it brings a lot of discipline to your sets, as much as you want to play those big rooms tunes, it doesn't quite work when people are just getting into things! The room was picking up nicely however I had an early start the next day so was back in bed before things reached a peak (Hardcore or what??)

Thursday 21st was the night of my radio show for the big brand Slinky.fm. Scott and myself have done 3 shows now and its had great interest across clubland. The show goes out at Midnight however the time has now changed. The new time slot is the 4th Tuesday of each month from 10pm, which I'm really pleased about as I think we can make our audience even bigger with the more sociable time. Now to the 2nd May bank holiday. On the 23rd I played at the Leeds Student club 'Stylus' for Tidy. With a superstar line up covering all areas of dance music this night was ready to be one to remember and boy it didn't disappoint! The gig was really enjoyable with a pumping vibe throughout both rooms! I managed to meet a bundle of cool people, and it was really nice to see hard dance do well in my home city!

Next month I'm back in the studio working on some fresh bangers! I will also be playing for Storm and Xzilar8 so watch out for those events. Don't forget to check out my Playground Disco show on Slinky.fm. The next show is on the 23rd June from 10pm
