What a first year it was for Disco Bomb! From its humble beginnings in Savannahs Back Room in San Antonio July 2007, to this summer co-hosting Cream terrace at Amnesia and the back room at Tiesto’s night at Privilege wtih Electrik Playground, things certainly moved up a gear! DB took up a weekly residency in the Electric (club) in the Ibiza Rocks Hotel every Wednesday, until the Ibiza Fun Police struck again. The Hotel were told that there were too many people leaving the venue at 6am (ie too many attending Disco Bomb), so the party could continue no more!! So DB moved to Opium weekly which ended up being 'one in one out' every week..!

Disco Bombs music policy makes 2manyDJs sound conservative, the sound is a mish mash of Fidgit House, Rock, Breaks, Indie, D&B, Hip Hop, Reggae, Disco & pretty much anything else that makes the crowd go wild!

Started as a bit of a laugh for worker friends by Sean Hughes (Cream resident) and Jamie Gittins (FILTHY gorgeous Promoter/resident) on 11th July 2007, Disco Bomb grew so popular at Savannahs that it had to move due to sound restrictions, as described in ‘One Week To Live Magazine’ last summer: “Those Party-pooping authorities have been at it again, by causing Savannahs Back Room to stop the super-soar away Disco Bomb party there last Wednesday because, err, it was too much of a success! The Disco Bomb boys decided to take the party to Hogans in the West End, presumably as a challenge to see if they could ram a totally naff club venue. They did!”

As well as Disco Bomb, residents Sean Hughes and Jamie Gittins had pretty good summers themselves, between them playing all over the island including - Ibiza Rocks, Radio 1's Party @ Amnesia, Manumission @ Amnesia, Carl Cox & Friends @ Space, Wonderland @ Eden, FILTHY gorgeous @ Various Venues, The S**T Party & The Breast Cancer Research Festival @ The Old Zoo as well as many others!

Ibiza maybe DB’s true home, but the guys have also hosted parties up and down the UK and some special events over at the stunning Mezzanine venue in Tulum, Mexico. More crazy antics are planned for this winter throughout Europe, so watch this space!!
