all i can say is thanx again to the boys for a good night and a bigFUCK YOU to all the wannabe rubberband waste of time people who call them selves djs who cant dj. the main room rig performed ok even though 1 dj couidnt help but turn up those trims to full, too thick i suppose, and whoever was djing in the back room was so shit they blew an amp and half the sound system.....again by turnig up trims to far.

HAMMERING RIGS

I was trying to figure out what was going on with this all night due to a very angry sound guy (not Kaim) getting lairy with me! Once I'd explained I'd only just put my first tune on he was OK. Obvously he thought I'd fooked it all up! I own quite a lot of equpiment myself and know how to respect other peoples.

All I know is that when we arrived people were complaining about it being quiet in the back room, then when I was on, I'd just put my first song on and a sound guy told me that we're gonna be running the monitor only for a while and pointed it at the dancefloor. While that was happening, and the dancefloor wouldnt really notice, I personally lowered the trims down so I could see some movement on the LED's!
I'm no expert with sound systems but we've got a limiter on our rig (it's a cheap rig built with cheap equipment), I know for a fact that's saved our amps and speakers loads of times when people get gain-happy! I presume you have something similar?

You guys handled it professionally and to be honest hardly anyone on the dancefloor noticed the sound drop when it was just the monitor.
