D*TACHED returns to celebrate the Lowestoft Airshow with a special HARD DANCE event. We've bought together some of the finest hard dance dj's from across the local area to bring you a night to remember. Plus also to warm you up beforehand a free pre party in The Edge Bar.

A little bit about the djs's then...

Well what can we say about Danny Burch (pictured above with Nelpin, check out the pre-party details below) that you don't already know, possibly one of the area's best known djs he's reached this stage in just a few years behind (and in front) of the decks. Always a crowd pleaser and crowd puller at the likes of Pams House and Treatment the list of events he's played at is to long to list however playing for The Tidy Weekender earlier this year ranks as one of the highlights, and he's played alongside the likes of Rob Tissera, Lisa Lashes, BK, Lisa Pin Up and Ben Kaye.
Flash is one of the brains behind bouncy hard house and hard trance night B.O.U.N.C.E which currently holds a residency at Media Nightclub in Norwich, however his djing C.V streches right back to the 1980's. From early house and acid house to MC'ing to hard dance and hard style.
As well as Flash we bring you another dj with a wealth of experience. Syco is probably currently best known for being responsible for the dance stage at Eastern Haze along with Honeypot, and right now they're both working on their latest venture Whomp. Syco's djing and producing achievments can also be traced back to the late 80's. He's been behind labels such as Wardance Records (jungle) and Red Seal Records (house) and amoungst others had a record deal with Drum & Bass label Boogie Beat where his releases got played by the likes of Carl Cox.
Weena has been on the djing circuit for about 5 years now. He's played many different venues and styles of music, highlights including playing for Gatecrasher in Yarmouth, Liquid in Ipswich with Vibe FM (now Kiss) and Pams NYE warm up party at Media amoungst many others. Next year he'll be on the Kinetic Energy tour playing alongside the likes of Darren Styles. You can currently catch Weena on Pams House Radio and Fishy FM.
D*TACHED founder and resident Ian Carman reveals his harder side for this event. Although probably best know for electro house and breaks, he loves the tougher side of dance music as well and first suggested that we do a hard dance special. Apart from D*TACHED Ian also runs 2gether(house & breaks) and co-promotes Retrospect (old skool).

All this talent lined up for you then, and just so you'll be able to hear it all ok we're gonna be adding the DMF SOUND AND LIGHT SYSTEM into Bluenotes. We'll also have our favourtie dancers HONEYBEE and PINKYPOO comming down to strut their stuff plus extra D*TACHED decor and some lovely lard busting sweets for your pleasure.

PRE PARTY DETAILS

Before any of that we also bring you a free pre party in The Edge Bar (below Bluenotes) between 6pm and 10pm which should take you nicely from the end of the airshow to the start of the hard dance party. Music will be club classics, funky and electro house. Featuring on the line-up is Nelpin who id playing at the massive Dance Island on July 5th. The complete line up is as follows...

Aye the clock is well and truly ticking, one more weekend of promoting to go....not forgetting the airshow days as well, theres no getting away from this sucker, hopefully wie'll attract a few of the 1/4 million people that'll be down the sea front over the two days (OH LORD, BRING US SOME SUNSHINE THIS YEAR!!)

Almost excatly 1 week away now b4 the madness starts. Did receive word today from a long range forecast that it gonna be good weather, i certainly would'nt put any money on that though

well it is lowestoft after all lol

4 sleeps left to go people, getting excited about this now!

we're making a whole day of it, taking in the sights and sounds of the Airshow before heading to the edge bar for a bit of pre party madness.......

wooohoooo i'm back in good ol' blighty and looking forward to our little d*tached shindig! Hope everyone else is too!

But i would really appreciate it if anyone thats see's me walking in circles outside pointing at my feet saying 'they're big!....now they're small!' before vomiting call me a cab or ambulance! Which gets there quickest!
