This week Miss Moneypennys welcomes London’s finest house duo The Hoxton Whores to its Friday night party at El Divino. With over a decade of DJing and a number of monster club hits under their belts, the boys are also no strangers to the white island. We caught up with them to find out what they’ve been up to in 2008 and what they have in store for the glamorous crowds in Ibiza…

Hey guys! Tell us what you’ve been up to recently...

At the moment we’re trying to make the most of rare British sunshine as we’ve just left the studio after finishing the latest of the ‘Lost In Ibiza’ episodes entitled “Dawn Rising”, a full on out and out Ibiza piano anthem!!
We’ve been very busy in the studio with plenty of tracks lined up for release at the back end of the summer with “In The bag” first on the roster - watch out for the Tocadisco remix!
The DJing is going strong with visits to Magaluf and Russia last week and a jam packed diary set for the rest of the year!! But we can’t wait to get out to Ibiza again this week and crack on in El divino with the Moneypenny’s family!!
We’ve also spent 6 months organising our latest venture www.mp3toburn.com and www.talkin2u.co.uk a combination of social networking joined with music downloads….definitely worth checking out if you love the party scene for all the latest action and happening tunes!!!

This week you’re playing for Miss Moneypennys @El Divino. What can we expect to hear in your set?

It’s probably gonna be a mixture of sounds blending from tribal beats ,through progressive monsters and tech house grooves!! Bring it on!!

Once again 2008 has seen some significant changes in Ibiza’s club land. What is the vibe like this summer?

The clubs have been taking hits again with more restricted hours and higher and higher prices but the masses are still determined to have a great time and even though the belts have been pulled in there are still plenty of smiles followed by messed up faces supplied by some awesome music!! We gather Miss Moneypenny’s is absolutely rocking it again for another year!!

Where do you like to chill out on the island?

Generally wherever we pass out….. we’ve woken up in some awkward places!! We try to leave the chilling for when we get home as we’re only doing two day stints this year but there are some beautiful beaches out there if that’s what you’re after!!

What else have you got planned for the rest of the year?

We’ve got some great gigs lined up with big Festivals in Slovakia, Helsinki and other countries. There’s also tours of Asia, India and Australia planned for the back end of the year along with numerous other locations which we’re really looking forward to. It’s gonna be a monster six months!!

And finally, what can you not be without when you’re away from home?

Our mum and dad, favourite teddy bears plus a pack of viagra!!
