ElectronicSessions Summer Party with Jaytech & Oliver Smith + Ben Macklin! July 11th
ElectronicSessions Summer Party
6.45pm to 1.00am
Temple Pier
Victoria Embankment
London

Tickets / 20 Pounds @ www.electronicsessions.co.uk

As we enter the summer the boat party appeal gets even stronger and our first 'full on summer party' line up could not have a more summery feel about it. This year has seen the ES Boat parties go up a level with us going monthly, with the decision being justified from 4 sell out boat parties out of 4 with the likes of Jon O'Bir, Agnelli & Nelson, Solarstone and Sied Van Riel headlining.
This month we welcome another headlining debutant in Jaytech from Anjunabeats! joined by another Anjuna stalwart Oliver Smith. Combined with an absolutely cracking house line up with Ben Macklin headlining this promises to be the perfect listing for your summer's dancing on the Thames!

Jaytech
Jaytech, aka James Cayzer, has carved himself a reputation as one of the top producers around, one of the most in demand up and coming DJ's and live talents which he is showcasing all over the world. His style is considered Uplifting, but never obvious, his music is well-thought out melodic house that’s equally at home in a Sasha or Desyn Masiello set as in a headline slot from Above & Beyond (Jaytech is also their opening DJ of choice). Hailing Australia, Jaytech had his first production signed at the age of 16 (having started producing at 14); ‘Music 101’ was a precocious start and achieved worldwide recognition. Though his exams were deemed the main priority by his parents, he spent his daytime hours on both his studies and his classical training (as a pianist), while at night, holed up in his bedroom, he perfected his programming skills. Hard work and an early start has certainly paid off, with a discography that runs into double figures and includes notable releases such as ‘Genesis’, which won widespread support from everyone from Desyn Masiello to Tiesto - who included it on his In Search Of Sunrise compilation, ‘Spacelift’, and ‘Pepe’s Garden’, which similarly found favour with Sasha, Armin Van Buuren and everyone in between.
Now with his academic studies behind him, and with a debut album under his belt, Jaytech’s entering the next stage of an extremely promising career.

Oliver Smith
In recent years this highly successful UK trance DJ and producer has released over 50 records and remixes and has performed as a DJ in many of the biggest clubs around the world so it’s no wonder he’s in great demand. Oliver’s music is regularly played by leading DJs such as Tiesto, Ferry Corsten, Armin van Buuren, Paul van Dyk and Above & Beyond. In addition to this, Oliver’s work as one half of the highly acclaimed production duo Smith & Pledger has assured him a place as one of the leading figures in the trance scene.
His tracks are a regular feature on compilations such as Anjunabeats Volume 6, which features a record breaking five Oliver Smith productions. Meanwhile, on the remix front, Oliver has been making waves with his remixes for Signalrunners, Jaytech, Maor Levi and Above & Beyond - all featuring on leading radio and club play lists and flying high in the Beatport charts.
As a DJ, Oliver has played at legendary UK super clubs such as Godskitchen, The Gallery, and Matter; and at far flung locations worldwide such as America, Switzerland and Singapore. He also regularly features on international radio shows and is a resident presenter of Anjunabeats Worldwide.
This will be Oliver's second appearance on the ES turntables after playing a storming set for us in the winter of 2007!

Ben Macklin
Ben Macklin has fast become one of the hottest young producers having broken through in 2006 with his versatile sound that crosses dirty electro, 80’s inspired electronica as well as energetic funky house. Since taking time out from his production partnership with Stretch Silvester as the Sucker DJ’s, Ben’s solo productions have been in huge demand and of them have found homes at prestigious labels such as Azuli records and Free2air recordings. Ben is also highly sought after for his remix work and so far has featured on releases from the likes of Kinky, Whoop, Plastic Fantastic, Salacious, Apollo, Mono Type, Big Star, Trunk Funk, SUESSE, SR2, Free2air & Incentive.

However, it’s Ben’s production on Conamore’s ‘I Got This Feeling’ and Pate No.1’s ‘Shining Star’ that have received huge support from the likes of Judge Jules (Tried & Tested and One for the Weekend respectively), Pete Tong, Steve Smart, Annie Mac, Seb Fontaine, Eddie Halliwel, Tom Novy, Lifelike, Space Cowboy plus a whole host more. Ben’s career started when he signed his first productions on to Seb Fontaine and Vern’s (Jay P) label Spot On in 2001. It was through this label that Ben began to produce with Stretch and the Sucker DJs were born. ‘Lotta Lovin’ (former Essential New Tune/Buzz No1) and ‘It’s Gotta Be’ have been two of the biggest releases to date although currently making waves is the dirty bass line driven ‘Fireworks’ featuring the vocals of the delightful Tiger Lily and is signed to Mark Knight’s Toolroom records whilst also receiving support from Pete Tong, Steve Angello, Sebastian Ingrosso, Axwell, Carl Kennedy, Eddie Thoneick & Funkagenda as well as being a former Buzz Chart No1. This will be Ben's debut for ES and one we are all looking forward too.

Lizzie Curious
Lizzie is going from strength to strength and is out in Ibiza this summer where she will be keeping herself busy with her Curiosity Club night on a monthly basis at Club Es Vive where she launches on June 23rd with Grin recordings. Along with this she will also have 2 huge residencies in Charleys Angelz and Juicy. Having previously worked with Robbie Riviera Lizzie was offered the chance to be the weekly resident at his Juicy night at Priveledge. Something we are all looking forward too. The boat party will be one of the only chances you get to see Lizzie in the capital this summer so don't miss out.

Jack Michaels
Head Of A&R For Grin Recordings, Jack will be making his second appearance on the boat after he absolutely smashed it last time. Jack will be making waves in Ibiza this summer for Heat Uk and Grin and his reputation in the Uk continues to grow with more and more top bookings over the Uk. You can check out his latest mix here;

The Persuaders
These guys need little introduction. They have made more appearances on the boat than any other dj and there is a reason for this! their amazing sets that take you through the best in upfront and driving progressive house and electro! Be sure to check them out!

Scotty A & Jumby
Creating quiet a stir in Norwich is Clubing scene, Es regulars JUMBY & SCOTTY.A eagerly awaiting their return to the Boat. Having made several appearances at ES & the gallery in the last year, you can expect to witness their unique style of progressive House & Techno."

Ses & Rico
Ses & Rico are a duo that played for us at Plastic Fondu and banged out the best set of the night by far. Their mix of prog and techsounds will set the groove for the night and should suit the boat to perfection!

Steve G & Luke Curran
Talented young duo fast rising within clubland, these boys won't dissapoint. This is their 2nd ES performance and have already played numerous Plastic Fondu's! Expect an exciting performance from them both!

Kingy & Chase
Founders of Trigger Funk, Play anything from funky through to dirty electro house. However they are more renowned for their dirty electro sets, which is what you can expect from these guys on the Boat! Expect a filthy driving electro set with plenty of energy from these two!

Lee H
Make way for House Trap heavyweight Electrotech extraordinaire Lee H from the South West. This will be his last set in the UK before he takes House Trap on tour to the white Isles of Ibiza. Except the unexpected from this guy! Boom!"

Good to see the later start. As a newbie to this, how much before the advertised time do you actually need to be there? Reason I ask is that my wife will be getting off a plane from Oz that day and every minute is crucial to us. But gotta dance to Jimbo again!!

Giving this one a miss, lots to do that weekend.

I'm sure it'll be a sell out as usual - Ben Macklin is a quality producer.
