You can still find stuff that is produced way better than bits from the past, but its also gota mtach your taste for sound.. effort..

I think it's harder to find wicked tunes now. Mp3 labels are banging out too much shit on stuff like trackitdown.

Before, you'd just go into catapult and listen to bangers on vinyl and take them home. Easy

The Hardhouse Cds really have some great quality in them especially the subscription ones from Toolbox, Deprivation and Vicious Circle.

id say it the opposite with hardhouse the music is getting better and better yea theres loads of shit being produced but there is also so many good new producers about making some awesome tunes, i cant enought of the sound at the mo and hate the older classic stuff.

no one loves classic trance as much as me, but trance for me is almost back to its best, i think its taken a little under 10 years for the new wave to come through and for the sound to not be as commerically viable as it become around 2000ish but yeh im loving it at the moment

i know most of the people i hang around with totally disagree with me though

Why do things like 'the golden age of trance' end though?

Why did Rank 1 stop producing anthems like airwave? Things like that, why don't they just keep going??

i think they do keep producing them, but other factors change which influence people ideas of what is good

for example, the drugs changed, the popularity of the music changed, the age of the listener, how frequent an event is held changed.....
