I am proud to introduce you to our new venue: Igloo, Nottingham.

Having visited the club today I was able to take a few snaps...

A bit about the club. Well, as many of you may know, Igloo used to be called Flo and before that, The Edge. Definitely an underground club, unfortunately The Edge got a bit of a bad reputation. Now its under new management, namely Tony that used to run legendary Nottingham night club, The Bomb.

Upcoming events include Firefly with Radio 1's Annie Nightingale, Ambush, midlandsdnb and RompaStomp!, a new hard dance night.

The soundsystem is fantastic with huge bass bins all around the lower floor as well as quality tops.

Upstairs has 2 of the same 12 bass bins which are used in the marcus garvey ballroom to make your eyes bleed. Top quality...

Igloo was once known to many as Flo, and before that, The Edge. This venue's once poor quailty lighting and soundsystem has been replaced with lasers, strobes, Intelligent DMX lighting, and a Heavy Sound Masters soundsystem. The club layout has been rearranged to provide more of a dancefloor and now offers a wider range of alcohol, plus the addition of beer on draught.

So there you have it. We are just trying to finalise a launch date. More to come on that very very soon...

By the way, I don't personally like that army netting thing. I think we'll take that down. The paintwork is cool and runs the same throughout.

2 rooms. There's an upstairs roughly the same same size as the ground floor.

lol yeah, my mate used to run a night there back in the day. Was a good night but the club wasn't right under Dennis. All thats changed now. It is a much much better club.

I'm just trying to sort a few things at the minute. Its possible we'll do a pre-launch party to cover the cancelled event at The Venue on the 25th but I can't confirm that yet. I need to slim the line up down, its 2 rooms now, not 3. Otherwise, well do a proper launch night during the late may bank holiday weekend, either Saturday or Sunday.

Yep, there were some really good nights there a few years back but like I say, past owners weren't the best.

Don't go to Notts too often and when I do normally end up in Oceana cause my mates like it there :(

Actually its very near to Oceana. If you walk past Oceana to the right, its not far down the road on the right. Opposite Subway...
