Jesus!? How can that be, when that track has been dropped throughtout this year u can tell people are like oh god, wanting it to hurry up.. It must be the new youngsters voting in there masses, who dont really reconize other tracks from other djs and see Darren Styles and vote him. there is no way in a million years thats tracks off the year.No way.. Should a been Digital Lover or Missing you etc>?!

brisk is a bad boy but he's hardly a hardcore techno dj, much more deserving people in that category, there needs to be a proper hard techno arena at westfest and scrap that lame vip room

I agree mate, I'm just pleased that Brisk has finally got some recognition! I think his mixing is always faultless and there's hardly a set played out by anyone without a NG records track in it somewhere.. but you're right, I wouldn't have put him as solely hardcore techno as such..

However, if hardcore is defined this year by 'Sorry by Styles' then Brisk definitely plays harder than that tat!! :-) .. but where does Scorpio and the like get a look in?? I think there should be a middle award for the music that Robbie Long, Fracus, Brisk, Ham and the likes are promoting.. imo

best breakthough Dj Al Storm??? What the fuck, he has been on the scene for years. He is a fantastic dj and a wicked producer. And sorry but i do think that there are people more worthy of winning life time contribution as well, dont get me wrong Darren Styles is good. But come on.
