What is FRESH OUT THE BOX?

www.freshoutthebox.net

Fresh Out The Box is Oxfords longest running break-beat club night, held monthly at the Cellar and occasionally at the Zodiac.

The night is organised by the Cellars' owner manager Tim Hopkins, Ed Steele and Kostas Goustas from Obscure Ent (Little Park) and Scott Parker aka Soundz

We try to cater for all the different tastes with in the break beat scene. From dark and progressive to jump up and bootlegs, funky and tech to acid and feel good; we play the entire spectrum. We also play a variety of other music including techno and house, electro and more obscure beats. There is something for everyone who loves dance music. We also incorporate bands into our line ups as often as possible to add more variety to the night. Since the begginging in 2005 we have begun to play more and more Techno & House and in 2007 we aim play more still. We will never forget our beloved breaks however, there are some really exciting Techno & House DJs out there and we intend to bring them to Oxford for you.

So far the night has been great fun to organise and has already had guest DJs and Live Acts including;

If you like breaks, house, techno & electro and live in or around Oxford then come and check out one of our nights at the Cellar or Zodaic. The Cellar is smaller more intimate venue and makes for a more personal experience where you are standing right next to the DJs. The Zodaic is a much larger club and gives more of an arena feel (well almost) and its built for live bands hence we will always try to get live bands to the Zodiac.

We hope to see you soon....

All the best
