:)

Just trying out some tilt-shift effects. I thought it looked kinda cool. Admittedly, it is my first attempt! :P

Other examples of tilt-shift photography.

I must admit the pinky one is better-ish! The blue one does look blurry apart from the odd one man! Lol

I am no pro at this stuff so I guess its hard to do,

Most of them are very 'meh', though i'll be the first to admit that it simply doesn't subscribe to my tastes.

That said;

Photo critique would be better suited for that then as the above are... well... struggling to think of something other than 'shit'. honestly they belong in the worst photos group.

The red one is your best attempt though :o)

Is this the same effect or is this just radial blur (set to zoom) and gaussian blur?

No, I'd say that's just a bit of blur around the edges. And to coin your phrase... shit :) The girl is nevertheless 'bang tidy' ;) Anywho, the subject of the photo doesn't appear to me to be miniaturised by the effect. It works best on photos where you are not too close to the real-life subject and there is a lot of detail. You can then focus in on one particular aspect of the photo and then use a gradient focus blur outward to make it look like the photographer was shooting, very close up, something tiny, a miniaturised model.

Came across some other ones I liked the other day from a—dare I say it on DSI—Facebook Group...

And here's a new one I did from a walk last weekend:

I'll be the first to admit I'm amateur :P
