All in all I thought Gatecrasher was a pretty decent festival! Obviously the lineup was superb, even without the chems its going to be hard to find another festival this year with so many huge names packed in!

We absolutely loved the DSI / Cement tent. It was rocking all the way until the unfortunate death of the chap at 2am. RIP to him. The place was totally rammed!!

Justice were awesome, the Prodigy made me feel 16 again, they were blasting out the old classics and everyone was moshing like they were at a rock gig!

God forbid I actually spent 25 minutes in the hardcore arena having a bloody good time! Those kids know how to party!!!

The star of the show was deffinetly my new ear plugs I got from anjunabeats. They kept me listening to the amazing music, without damaging my ears. They were really comfortable, I forgot I was wearing them for most of the festival!

If you are hitting the festivals this year then get yourself a pair!

I personally had a mint weekend, the storm tent and hardcore tent were class! I did stay in the crasher arena nearly the whole time though, what can i say im a trance head, and i have to say the only people who were dissapointing for me were second sun live.
The organisation was top in my opinion and i'll defo be back next year.
With a vast amount of windbreakers and a tent for my tent!

what were chicane live like .. i was meant to pop around for that..?

i walked through the cement tent when they were on - nothing to write home about..

it was quite empty - possibly because The Prodigy were on at the time.

i swiftly exited towards the storm tent..

£20 to park and for a lanyard is a complete p*ss take.

putting its simply, it was awesome, i was gutted chemical brothers got cancelled but it didnt stop me havin a mint time.Prodigy was mental loved every minute and there were lots of other fatty sets played too (if you didnt see mark ronson you missed out!) and sunday gave me a feast of hardcore to munch my way threw. i loved it.the atmosphere was wicked and i met loadsa lovely peeps. havnt got a bad word to say bout it, twas BANGING!!! a really good kick off to my festi season. xxxx

Quality stuff all round. Prodigy was immense! The fireworks was a nice touch... wish i'd had seen more acts than i did but you were never gonna be fully satisfied with a line up like that! Would've LOVED to see Chicane do saltwater, can only imagine what that tent was like when they dropped it.

I just wanna go back and do it all again, but with better weather and me not so spangled!!

i thought it was quality! compared to global it was a fucking dream. getting in took me a mere matter of minutes and the campsite was near both the entrance and the arenas. once in the layout was perfect and the tents all kicking off! the saturday obviously the likes of prodigy and paul van dyk were highlights, but i spent the weekend tent hopping so heard a fantastic range of amazing dance music. one thing i have to say was the atmosphere. it was much better than something similar to global where its full of topless pikeys, but a real mix of ravers from the old skool, the crasher faithful, nu-rave kids, backpackers, and just plain hedonists which really gave it a good, non sketchy vibe.
when the rain started and the howling wind came in it threatened to go a bit tits up and the fact the chemicals were cancelled was defintely a let down. however i didnt let that get me down and still had a wicked time raving in all the tents. skream and benga, simian mobile disco, marco v, marcel woods were fantastic and as it got messy i forgot who else i saw!

the non intrusive security was also a big advantage, i felt safe and relaxed throughout the festival- the way it bloody should be!

there were a few issues like the avalilibity of free tap water, which was near impossible to find, but fuck it it didnt spoil my weekend. our 8 man tent i swear was threating to blow away, but i reckon ill remember the awful weather and laugh at it in a few years time!

SPOT ON MATE, i fully picked up on this vibe and i swear one reason why i had such a good time. Much better atmosphere than past globals ive been to, im not even bothering this year cus of the line up ! gonna do other festys instead.

I have to say that i found it quite good not as good as i expected it would be. Class line up and me my bf and 2 friends drove all the way from scotland for this so by the time we got there at 7am Saturday morning after leaving scotland at 10pm we had no sleep before it started and didnt really get any sleep up until we left moday afternoon.

I wasnt there to see chemical brothers but the oraganisers should have prepared the stage so tht if it rained the staged would have been water proof..

And although it was a festival and rain was too be expected i hated walking about in the mudd lol, spose its all part of the fun!

Johan Gielen was amazing.. first time ive ever seen him, and i was talking to scot project and apparently it wasnt very loud due to it being illegal i mean we are out in the middle of nowhere who was gonna be complaining bout noise the sheep lol...

We only paid a tenner to! But there were so many people who paid £10 for a fake line up thing lol xx

loved every moment of it!.. i didnt buy a time table.. just went to were i felt happy!... hat club out door arena was fing blinding.. only about 20 people but every one bang on it with hat club style mcing!... prodigy were insain.. there new stuff is just amazing.. paul van dyk... immence... and getting to see 808 state was aloso a massive highlite!!!!
