Godskitchen in May presents one of the most seminal and well known names in
electronic music.... The legendary PAUL OAKENFOLD who needs no
introduction.... How many producers can state that they have remixed the
likes of Madonna, The Rolling Stones, U2, Michael Jackson and Radiohead?!
Paul is a true A List DJ, one of the most established figures in the scene
who has has performed in hundreds of places around the world including
unique locations such as the Great Wall in China, the Hollywood Bowl in Los
Angeles and Wembley Stadium... and on May 24th he will be touching down at
Air in Birmingham!

In the Nitrogen Room we welcome back Air favourites THE TROPHY TWINS

Think I'm the only one going!! Finished exams, so well up for Gods...absolutely gutted that Oakenfold's playing, hate that misserable f*ck!! Does anyone know of any other big nights going down in B'ham that night cos i dont really wanna bring all my mates up to air and end up being the only ones there?!?

Yeh was considering SSS, but cant be dealing with the travelling to and from...Air is only 2 mins in the taxi for me...then the after-party can begin!!

when was the last time any of you guys heard oakey play ??? i was at gc nottingham and he tore the place up !!! i'am biased tho as i was a regular in his cream days...the courtyard was something else !!!
i've been to all the other nights around and seen the likes of tyas,lange,hardwick,durrand,downey,askew and so on but for me what oakenfold brings is unique....so i'll be there :)

you cant cut his hair, thats going to get him his loreal contrat when everyone finally realises he is shit at everything else nowadays, it worked for david guetta.

i was waiting for someone to mention his mixmag interview, he also said that he gave his new son a double barrell surname so people wont realise hes an oakenfold and the press wont plague him. (or kids wont take the piss out of him for having a floppy haired has been ol man), and if dancemusic or electronic music doesnt inspire him any more id like to hear what hes going to play at an electro night in gods - (chinese opera, maybe?)

exactly, and no age joke intended but you would have been clubbing at the pinacal of his trance stardom, when even i know he was good, if thats his attitude he should have gone out gracefully a good couple of years ago, hes going to end up making an enemy of himself among clubbers.
