Godskitchen in May presents one of the most seminal and well known names in
electronic music.... The legendary PAUL OAKENFOLD who needs no
introduction.... How many producers can state that they have remixed the
likes of Madonna, The Rolling Stones, U2, Michael Jackson and Radiohead?!
Paul is a true A List DJ, one of the most established figures in the scene
who has has performed in hundreds of places around the world including
unique locations such as the Great Wall in China, the Hollywood Bowl in Los
Angeles and Wembley Stadium... and on May 24th he will be touching down at
Air in Birmingham!

In the Nitrogen Room we welcome back Air favourites THE TROPHY TWINS
alongside the fine Godskitchen residents MICKY SLIM, FUNKAGENDA, PAUL THOMAS
and more.

totally agree hun, should have seen him in 99

I remember getting turned away from Gods late '99 when Oakie was playing. The queue was still going round the block when they started turning people away, I think Seb Fontain was playing on the same night. I was gutted as he really was the most in demand DJ at the time. The first time I actually saw him play was at Global, think it was 2005. He was pants to be fair.

I have to say I wont be in a hurry to see him any time soon but I think some of the jip he has been getting is a bit unfair considering the contribution he has made to the scene over the years. Will people be saying the same about Armin in 10 years?

i agree with you about what he has done for the scene ove the years, but his time has come and gone, and he did,nt finish gracefully, instead he shot himself by doing a interview in mixmag and saying the things he said is unforgiveable
