'Hands On' 'Hands On' was started as a passion and hobby in 1994 and into a business in 1997
throu love for the music and has grown impressively over the period of 15 years since that time.
The Proprietor has met with over 20'000 DJs in every corner of the Globe during the years
and the business is now fully established on shop premises based in Albert Road in Southsea.

We have seen every worthy label and DJ in every style since 1990

The DJ's have played all over the World for all over for many years
Their experience and long term knowledge with the dance music industry
has allowed them to be able to cater for any kind of dance music taste and event.

As a record store, the shop stocks every type of dance music related
12" vinyl available and quite often before most high street stores.

Whether it is House, Progressive, Tech House, Techno, Break beat, Drum & Bass , Hardcore ,
Hardstyle , Hard house, Trance or Commercial Releases you are after, you will find it at
'Hands On'. From the latest promos to the rarest deletion .

The store is packed to the brim with a whole range of 12" vinyl, CD's and DJ merchandise.
There is a rack for each possible dance music style imaginable and caters for every taste.
The staff are friendly and have an in-depth knowledge of each particular genre, to help you
find exactly what you need whether you are a DJ, collector or just a fan of dance music.

Largely, 'Hands On' stocks quantity's of dance 12" vinyl of every kind, however, CD's are also
available including the very best underground compilations, not available in most high street stores.

There is also a selection of merchandise such as T-Shirts, Record Bags, Slipmatts, Needles and
Headphones available, all at quality prices and from the best manufacturers.

'Hands On' are the largest independent stockists in the south of every possible label.
If you do not see what you are after, the shop offers a quick and effective ordering service
to make sure you get the vinyl you need and there are eight listening posts within the store,
also to ensure you have the track you want before you buy it.

'Hands On' also offers a tutorial service to fans of dance music that are eager to become DJ's.
Private lessons are available as well as group tutorials for students and young people, which
are well advertised and take place all over the south coast.

Alongside running a performers and artists agency , events management , sound & lighting & décor , printing and design departments , CD & Vinyl pressing services , equipment repairs and pretty much anything dance music & promotion related.

The 'Hands On' studio located at the old premises 112a Albert Rd , Southsea is always busy with many DJ's, writers and producers working on forthcoming releases as you read this.

HANDS ON STUDIOS will offer a rehearsal room for bands as well as qualified engineers.
