Hat-Club’s Summer Shindig is just 1 day away so we thought it was the perfect time to catch up with a few of the residents for their memorable moments

Tony Vega from The BeatThiefs tells us about his Hat Club most memorable moments




The funniest…

Got to be after Hat Club in Abu Dhabi where at the hotel after party, a few regulars ended up with us doing gap jumps from the T.V cabinet to the bed. We gaffer tapped hotel doorknobs together, ordered some seriously random room service (chicken and mint flavoured chocolate cake); and I remember trying to iron my plate still with chips on it!? And PENS! Lots and lots of pens... Mmm, I guess it’s one of those you had to be there, but honestly I haven’t laughed that hard in ages.

The most euphoric / spine tingling…

Was at seOne. It was our first time playing there and the crowd were amazing. I guess just one of those moments when everything slots into place. Good times.

The most embarrassing…

I had really bad gut rot one night in Southend, I don’t what from, but I was dropping air biscuits left right and centre and they were progressively getting worse and we were half way through our set. I couldn’t hold it any longer and I just let rip, I knew it was going to be off the scale so I sloped out of the booth and left it with Henry – just as someone was walking in to speak to us… haha oh how I laughed!
