Does anyone still communicate on DSI?! We’re happily snowed in at Higher Status HQ so thought I’d use this opportunity to let you know what we’ve been up to these past several months. Having to call it a day on C64 and the premature demise of DEF inc. was a gloomy time for us and we needed a real change of scene and some new inspiration to refuel and recharge our batteries…. which led down some very unexpected paths! Photographic assignments in Paris and Monte Carlo, creating a cross-cultural music event in Morocco, VJing with Deekline & Wizard and DJ Fresh, working on film premieres with Tom Cruise and Daniel Craig, insane fashion parties for some London fashion houses and even meeting the King of Jordan himself! Our music party plans remain on hold until sufficient funding is sourced - sadly a free party can only go so far these days - but in the meantime our AV act Soulshake has been observing, absorbing and fusing all these eclectic influences and been working hard in the studio reworking it all into an encyclopaedic collage of all that we see, hear and experience….
