The 1st Semi Final Winners @ HotBox
Last weekend saw the first of the 2 HotBox Semi Finals where 6 DJ’s Sugarshaker, Rustic Groove, Andy Boph, Amy Taylor, Dirty Little Funker and JayArdee battled it out behind the decks. As usual the competition was stiff and all the DJ's pulled out all the stops to provide something extra special on the night!

6 DJ's were reduced to 3 and it was close with one point separating those going through. The 3 DJ’s that were left standing after the dust has settled where:

Amy Taylor, Dirty Little Funker and Andy Boph.

Well done guys, all three will be playing in the HotBox Final and will play against the winners from the 2nd Semi Final taking place on the 7th Oct which are :

Dave Joyce,
Concept,
Jon Kirven,
Little Jo,
Tyrone Life

and the winner of the wild card playoff going through from the last round

Aaron le Doubles.

As you can see there is some fine talent in all the DJ's mentioned above, so be sure not to miss the next semi final on the 7th October...come down and support your DJ!

See you there!

Nice work Mr Boph, your set was a highlight of the afternoon.

Unlike paying the part of £20 for two drinks.........

iT'S £4.50 for a normal vodka and coke so sound a bit steep.

I did check with the barman, and he said he had given me the right change and that he was sorry but he had no say over the pricing.

I stuck to beer after that.

you should have got an extra tenner in your change mate... as it's £4,60 for a mixer which is already a 35mil shot (larger than the normal 25mil)

Nope, checked that with him as well.

Two double vodkas w/ coke = £19.20
