S-J and Baby Doc. The names evoke the formative years of what we now call hard house. S-J has now returned to the music scene after a number of years away, to collaborate with highly respected producer and DJ James Nardi on two new tracks for his forthcoming Killer Hurts recordings CD. What has prompted this return to the hard house scene? What has she been doing in the meantime? And what was it like being involved those early years of the emerging scene? I try and play as much of my own music in my sets as possible, and its looking like I’m going to have a fair few originals that wouldn’t have been played elsewhere so it will be good to road test them in Birmingham.
